All right Taylor Swift released her sixth album “Reputation” on November 10, 2017.
However, she is refusing to publicly release this album on platforms like Apple Music and
Spotify. She has stated in the past she feels music should keep its trademark, and not be
shared so freely. She’s not the only artist to feel this way. Adele, as well as Beyoncé have
held back releasing their music to the public as well. In your opinion do artists do this for
creative rights, greed, or another motive?
They're losing money that way. How tragic!
I️ don’t believe it’s necessarily about the money. In Taylor Swift’s case she’s had a hard
time with other celebrities, so it makes me wonder if she’s trying to prove herself. I️
think it’s possible she wants as many albums sold; therefore she can show she has a
successful reputation.
what happened to people doing music strictly because they love making music? you don't see the 99.99 percent of other artests on these platforms bitching like this. they just want money.
My point, exactly. I sing just to sing. Sure, I'd love some money, but that's not the heart of my singing. I love singing, and when I do it right, I sound relatively good. And, I'm not saying this, because I have an ego.
You don't see say: The Oak Ridge Boys, complaining about money. I think it's harmful when an artist or even a ball player, take your pick, says they want money first.
Frankly, I'd like to have millions, and I don't. We all do the best we can. I for 1, prefer the humble attitude. Goodness sakes! The Oak Ridge Boys care more about God, than money. And, a more humble group of men, I've not seen.

I’ve vaguely heard of those guys Sarah. I️ still look for the good in an artist once I️
relate to the message of their lyrics. “Look What You Made Me Do” got me through the
hardest break up of my life. The words “The world moves on another day another drama
drama, but not for me not for me all I️ think about is Karma, and then world moves on,
but one thing’s for sure maybe I️ got mine, but you’ll all get yours” resonated inside me
at the right time. I️ honestly don’t believe she’s only after her fans dollars. I️ feel
this because I️ know what it’s like to be talked about by people you once thought would
always be there for you stab you in the back. I️ think she’s found herself in a hard part
of her life. However, everyone is entitled to their own opinion. If you dislike or hate Taylor
Swift I️ certainly can’t stop you. I’m sure there are artists people enjoy that I️ don’t
like. A reason I️ don’t believe she’s doing it for the money I’d because she donated
profits from her 1989 album.
I would hate to date her. because the relationship would end and she would write a song about me. she's made millions off of other mens broken hearts. lol.
